Jeannine Chanin Penn
Jeannine has worked more than 20 years as a creative director for media and entertainment businesses. Since 2010, she has pursued her own dream of nurturing xoj9 which focuses on creating Smart & Beautiful brand solutions for small businesses and entrepreneurs with a big message.
Clients include: Awassa Children's Project, Lorraine Jonsson Architectural Design, The Buckeye Group, The HUB, WhyEight, LaLaLuxe, Pregnancy Awareness Month, California Baby, DotComsforMoms & Fair Fund.
Jeannine previously worked as creative director for HBO, TBWA Chiat/Day, Grey Entertainment and other companies, where she helped promote and launch such hit shows as Tracey Ullman, Larry Sanders and DreamOn on HBO and Once and Again and The Drew Carey Show on ABC. She later took the entrepreneurial leap and co-created The Treehouse Social Club, an innovative place for families with young children to experience indoor play, arts and crafts, workshops and events sponsored by major brands ranging from Gerber to Little Tykes and Pampers.
Inspired by her mother’s belief in the importance of giving back, Jeannine serves on the Los Angeles Advisory Council of Help-A-Mother-Out and is a founding member of the Make-A-Wish/Women for Wishes group. She also is a contributing writer to MomsLA.
